Installation for FLEXI-Roll®, FLEXI-Connect®, and Swain Mats
Install Dollamur FLEXI-Roll® Mats
Installation Steps:
Position the mats using a two-wheel dolly or by rolling them into place.
Remove packaging carefully to avoid cutting the mat. Unwrap and keep the straps for future storage.
Unroll and align the mats in their installation area.
Apply mat tape centered between seams. Work in 2–3 ft sections to prevent air bubbles, and use a scraper at a 45° angle to smooth the surface.
Apply VLP glue with a squeeze bottle along the tape edge. Do not wipe during application, as it may discolor the mat.
Trimming FLEXI-Roll® Mats & Wall Pads
This video walks through how to properly trim mats and wall pads to fit your space, covering corner, edge, and outlet cuts.
Corner Trimming: Measure and mark the desired edge, draw a line with a T-square, connect end points, cut, and slide the mat into place.
Edge Trimming: Measure and mark removal lengths on both sides, connect with a straightedge, and cut across the length.
Outlet Trimming (Wall Pads): Trim before applying adhesive, measure the outlet, transfer to pad, cut, and dry fit before installation.
Set Up FLEXI-Connect® Mats
This video shows how to correctly install FLEXI-Connect® mats.
Transport & Unpacking: Use a dolly or roll mats to the area, carefully removing packaging to avoid cuts.
Unrolling: Unfasten and keep straps for storage. Place mats flat with edges down, numbering from left to right starting with one.
Connecting: Unroll the next mat 2–4 inches over the first, align, and nest the flap into the skived area.
Securing: Press the flap into the loop side and realign if gaps appear.
Installing & Trimming SWAIN Mats
This video provides step-by-step instructions for installing and trimming SWAIN Hybrid Tatami Mats.
Installation: Place mats in order, ensuring a tight fit. Mats weigh 40–50 lbs, so lift carefully.
Marking: Mark the final edge with an extra 1/8 inch and sides 3–4 inches longer for vinyl coverage.
Cutting: Use a straightedge for initial cuts through vinyl and foam. Make horizontal vinyl cuts 1/4 inch shy of top/bottom, peel vinyl back, then cut foam at final marks.
Finishing: Apply adhesive, let set, and press vinyl flap firmly.

FLEXI-Wall™ Pads - Permanent Install
Follow this video guide to permanently install Dollamur FLEXI-Roll® Wall Pads for a seamless, durable, and safe finish.
Mark the wall: Indicate the top edge placement before installation.
Optional prep: Apply hook-and-loop at top, middle, and bottom to help position pads.
Apply adhesive: Spread strong construction adhesive evenly across the wall.
Position pads: Stand the mat upright (logo facing correctly) and slowly unroll onto the adhesive.
Secure bond: Press firmly across the entire surface, top to bottom and side to side, for lasting adhesion.

Install Wall Panels

Repair Vinyl Mats
